OBX Day Trip No.1

No sleeping in today! For it’s day trip number one to the Outer Banks, NC. The wedding planning is officially underway. If all goes well we will have a date set by this evening. It’s pretty exciting! Driving from RVA to OBX takes about three hours, so we’re in for six hours of ride time today, but six hours of ride time is better than a pile o’ money for a hotel. We’re sitting here obsessing about the prospect of rain on our wedding day and how that will certainly put a damper on the outdoor reception plans. What to do, what to do. Anyone have any experience with an OBX wedding? Wisdom is always appreciated.
