WordPress Images Sans Gallery 2

Boy am I almost there with my image gallery, but god it seems like it’s never going to work.

Help me out, I need a good image gallery plugin for WordPress. I know WordPress is not made to be a photography site, but I am sure I am not the only person out there that want s to show of a few pictures in a simple and elegant way. I tried to make NextGen Gallery work, which had much promise, but it just wasn’t working very well. I have PixGallery running and although it works, elegant it is not.

Anyone have a good solution?
